After leaving La Luna e i Falo, we head down to the Ligurian coast again, with stops in the prosperous spa town of Acqui Terme, and the huge steep seaside array of Genova. Genoa is a large city astonishingly arrayed on the steep Ligurian slopes down to the sea. After some long time attempting to find our way to the center of town, we park, and stroll, getting some cocktails along the way. A stroll amongst the many piazze and churches provides a different feel than what we’ve thus far experienced.
